¿Pasión? ¿Adicción? A mí me gusta jugar.
En la animación, lo que más amo es ver cómo se mueve, jugar con el tiempo, ver como el significado de la escena se cambia con un tiempo diferente. Me gusta muchísimo el proceso de editar, reeditar, añadiendo sonidos, música. Disfruto trabajando sola tanto como puedo, teniendo la posibilidad de cambiar algo, en cualquier momento.
En acción viva, es lo opuesto. Tenés que trabajar con gente, sin espacio para la improvisación repentina. Pero es genial estar con gente, aunque a veces puede ser frustrante también, no hay tiempo para nada, mucha prisa, una especie de enfermedad, pero alegre. Me gusta el olor del polvo de estrellas, sí.
En animación, hago películas para mí. A veces ni siquiera los muestro, tal vez en algún workshop. En acción viva, la película está pensada para la gente, la audiencia. Pero también para mí. Sólo que siempre hay menos libertad, siempre tenés al productor detrás, que tiene un distribuidor detrás… Entonces hay un compromiso mayor entre lo que yo me imagino y lo que ellos me dejan hacer.
Mmm… sí, además del sonido del silencio, otro de mis sonidos preferidos es el del aplauso. Es también parte de la motivación, cuando la gente reacciona, cuando la película gana aceptación, cuando la gente obtiene algo de tu trabajo.

Passion? Ediction? I like to play.
In animation, I love the most to see how it moves, to play with timing, to see how the meaning of the scene changes with different timing. I like very much the process of editing, reediting, adding sounds, music. I enjoy working as much as I can alone, having possibility to change anything, anytime.
In live action – it is the opposite. You have to work with people, no space for sudden improvisation. But it is great to be with people, although also frustrating sometimes, no time for anything, big rush, some kind of happy fever. I like smell of stardust, yes, I do.
In animation I make films for myself, sometimes I even don’t show it except in some workshops. In live action – film is ment for people, for the audience. But for myself too. Just there is always less freedom, you always have producer behind who has a distributor behind… So, there is bigger compromise of what I would imagine and what they let me do.
Hmmm… yes, besides the sound of silence, another my favourite sound is applaus. It is also part of motivation, when people react, when the films gains acceptance, when people get something from your work.
