Durante días diferentes hago películas por motivos diferentes. Esto es un modo de vivir, un modo de ser y un modo de intensificarse mi ser a través de la mirada.
Mirando gradualmente, podemos ver las cosas invisibles, estas cosas que se unen y conectan con otras cosas. Trato de remarcarlas con estas tecnologías de imagen y sonido que son directamente crudas y básicas. Dentro de este baile con la tecnología yace una paradoja; es un baile con el lado oscuro de la modernidad, su prisa, avaricia y ego, su separación del mundo orgánico –pero también esto puede evocar viajes profundos hacia nuestro ser interior mientras miramos y respiramos dentro de la caja oscura del cine–. Una película puede ser una pequeña gota de veneno, como un remedio homeopático, que puede inspirar y curar nuestro espíritu. Es por eso que hago películas hoy.

On different days I make films for different reasons. It’s a way of life, a way to be and a way to intensify my being by seeing.
Gradually, by looking, we can see the invisible things, these things that connect and thread through other things. I try to point towards them with these technologies of image and sound that are at once crude and magical. Inside this dance with technology lies a paradox; It is a dance with the dark side of modernity, its haste, avarice and ego, its separation from the organic world – but also it can conjure profound journeys of our inner being as we watch and breathe inside the dark box of cinema. A film can be a little drop of poison, like a homeopathic remedy, that may inspire and cure our spirit. That is why I make films today.
