Elegir un par de temas, personajes y conflictos (con los cuales conviviré durante varios años) me presenta un escenario de trabajo fascinante para poder relacionarme y profundizar los vínculos con quienes me rodean, sea que estén adelante o atrás de la cámara.
Pensar, escribir, discutir y encontrar distintos enfoques y respuestas a acciones humanas, a vínculos, a deseos y problemas simples o existenciales; es un terreno de investigación y descubrimiento colectivo, que me dan las fuerzas necesarias para afrontar la descomunal tarea que es hacer una película.
Compartir horas de trabajo, hablar y discutir con la gente de mi equipo, de una película que aún no existe, para que luego de su realización, otro grupo de personas, en un lugar y tiempo impensados, vuelvan a deshilvanar esos temas, esos conflictos; es para mí un privilegio imposible de valuar.
El haber realizado un film, un producto, que hasta hace poco no existía y ahora es algo “vivo”, algo que despierta preguntas, algo que genera ideas, algo que sirve a alguien para entender un poquito más a otro alguien; es una manzana mordida de la cual ya no puedo prescindir.

To choose a couple of topics, characters and conflicts (that will coexist with me for several years) it’s a fascinating work scene that allows me to relate and deepen the relations with the ones that surround me.
To think, to write, to discuss and to find different approaches and answers to human actions, to links, to simple or existential desires and problems; it is an area of investigation and collective discovery, that enforces me to confront the extraordinary job of doing a film.
To share working hours, to talk and to discuss with my team about a film that doesn’t exist yet, in order that, after filming it, another group of persons -in an unthinkable place and time- will remove the basting of these topics, these conflicts; it is a privilege I can’t value.
The fact of making a film, a product, that some time ago did not exist and now it is something «alive», something that makes questions, something that generates ideas, something that serves someone to understand the others a little bit more; it is a bitten apple I can’t do without anymore.
