Tengo una resistencia a esta pregunta.
Hago películas porque no las puedo hacer. Es como amar a alguien; lo/a amas como un entero, con sus imperfecciones y demás. Si empiezo a analizar porque amo a esta persona o porque hago películas, estoy diseccionando ese amor, separando las partes, frenándolo de ser un entero. Es como respirar; cuando empiezas a prestar atención a cómo respiras o frenas o respiras demás.

I have a resistance to this question.
I make films because I cannot not make them. It is like loving someone –you love them as a whole with their imperfections and what not. If I start analyzing why I love that person or why I make films I am dissecting that love, separating the parts, stop it from being a whole. It’s pretty much like breathing– when you start paying attention how you breathe you stop breathing or you overbreathe.
